Date / Description:

This competition has openings for up to six (6) photographers using their still cameras to capture their winning shots during a nightime photoshoot. Each photographer will have only 1 hour for set-up and another hour to capture that 'perfect shot'. Photographers are allowed to enhanced their images digitally, or use their base image to create their final composition, including Add-ons. An explanation of any enhancements or additional process (if used) must be provided to the jurors. This contest is opened to the imagination. so, use it!

GRAND PRIZE: $250 Cash (Must have at least 5 registrants).

Site:

This nightime (evening) photoshoot can take place in both an indoor and/or outdoor setting depending on the location or venue. We will attempt to arrange the maximum available space to the photographers to set-up their photoshoot. Competing photographers are allowed to use whatever props within the premises that are available to them, or they can bring their own props. We cannot tell you in advance what will be available for props. If you want to be sure that you get the shot you are imagining, again bring your own stuff. There will designated changing areas available to all the photographers as well. We will only have three photographers shooting on location at once, so it doesn't get too crowded.

Equipment:

Photographers are responsible to bring all necessary equipments, including their digital cameras, memory cards, tripods, lights, and whatever else they will need for their composition. We will need the final image in print form, so if you want to make sure that you can produce the disc for final print, bring your own laptop as an assurance. However, we will provide a printing station with a Laptop, Printer and High-Quality Photo Paper (8 x 10). Again, since you might run into problems with software compatibility and/or missing Drivers, you should consider bringing your own laptop just in case you can't use ours to transfer your files onto the disc for printing.

Theme:

Erotic in nature. Sensual Nude. Opened to the erogenous part of your mind. No depictions of actual Sexual Acts allowed! Participants that do not adhere to this guidelines risk disqualification and/or exclusion from the event.

Eligibility:

You must register to participate. The contest is open to individual adults (18 and older).

Talents:

All models must be at least 18 years of age to participate. The artists are responsible to provide their own talents or models. However, ARTundressed will send out a "CALL FOR MODELS" and allowed models to volunteer for the Photo contest. Their pictures and profiles will be posted on the site and we will allow the artist to contact them via undisclosed emails.

Entry Deadline:

Applications must be received by August 31st, 2009 to participate in this event. Only six (6) spots are available and they are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis to the photographers whose works exemplifies quality and professionalism. So, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot in the ARTundressed Photography contest.

Registration Fee:

There is no registration fee. Participants will receive complimentary (free) admission for themselves and up to 2 models per participant.

Check-In:

All participants must check in at the Registration desk/booth at the exhibition. Check-in for Photography contest participants starts at 5pm and closes at 7pm. Give yourself plenty of time to set-up so that you can have as much time as possible for the actual photo session.

Judging:

All artists will be required to complete their final print by 9pm and the judging will follow immediately afterwards, and the winner's announcement will be made at 10pm. Each work of art will be judged according to the ARTundressed C.O.D.E. = Creativity; Originality; Depth in Design; Eroticism Level. Quality and appropriateness of form will be taken into consideration. Judges decisions are final. Participants risk disqualification if they do not adhere to all competition guidelines.

Awards:

1st place - $250 Cash Prize
2nd place - $100 Cash Prize
3rd place - $50 Cash Prize
Plus, the 1st place winner will be allowed to sell the winning image in our 2009 ARTundressed Exhibition Tour.
