Acquiring his first camera in 1983 set the path for the rest of his life. There were almost 20 years of learning the art of photography behind the lens of film cameras before picking up his first digital camera. Film camera experience included everything from 35mm, to medium format to large format view cameras. There were also years of creating prints in the darkroom and developing film. Studio photography started with tungsten flood lights and progressed to multiple studio flash set ups.
Digital photography has created a revolution which he has embraced fully working with professional digital SLR equipment and becoming proficient with Adobe Photoshop. Although he learned the art of photography by photographing people, he is now concentrating on the event photography market. He currently does freelance assignments for several local magazines and occasionally work for national press agencies. In addition to event photography, he also provides services for fashion, products, family, corporate and fitness.
